I focus on the YMCA’s financial stability, relationship building, strategic partnerships, and planning. Operations are handled by the Vice President of Operations of the organization providing me the flexibility to concentrate on advancing the cause and mission of the YMCA in the community.
Vice President of Operations
I am responsible for the supervision and leadership of Program staff. I create, develop, implement and monitor programs and services that serve the needs of members and program participants and ensure safe, clean and responsive operations.

Director of Financial Operations
I monitor the financial operations, prepare analysis and reports and give guidance to management staff on issues that affect our financial operations. I oversee the accounting and finance information ensuring legal and audit requirements are met and that best practices and maximum efficiency are obtained.
Director of Marketing & Development
I am responsible for creating and implementing plans to secure financial support from individuals, organizations, corporations, and foundations for the Y’s programs and special initiatives, positioning the Y as a “charity of choice” within the local community. Likewise, I am responsible for cultivation strategies and the stewardship program that encourages all levels of giving including for annual, capital, and endowment campaigns. I provide the vision and leadership to create image marketing to effectively position the Y, its programs, and leaders within the community, working in partnership with the Y’s CEO, vice president-operations, membership director, and community outreach director to ensure clear, concise, and consistent messaging that is innovative and enhances brand awareness, membership growth, and volunteer engagement.
Director of Family Services
I am responsible for managing four child care centers in Richland County. YMCA child care is more than looking after kids. I work closely with teachers and parents to ensure we are nurturing the development of your child by providing a safe place to learn foundational skills, develop healthy, trusting relationships and build self-reliance through the Y’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility, and faith.
Membership & Healthy Living Director
I am responsible for recruitment of new members, retention of existing members and supervision of all Welcome Center Staff. I develop plans and implement new procedures to achieve strategic membership goals. The best part about my job is meeting new people and spending time with members every day!
Director of Community Outreach
I provide quality youth programs that build character and self-esteem. I design programs to help at-risk youth reach their fullest potential; teaching them positive decision-making skills and structuring activities for after school. I serve as the staff liaison for local churches and schools building positive relationships with students, families, school staff and community partners.
Director of Youth Development
I direct and supervise the youth program activities to meet the needs of the community and fulfill the YMCA objectives. I help recruit, hire and train individuals youth program staff and conduct evaluations to ensure our staff is meeting their performance objectives.

I oversee much of the day to day operations of the Aquatics Department. I recruit, hire, train, motivate, schedule and evaluate lifeguards, swim instructors, and aquatic volunteers. I also work with parents and swimmers to place children in proper swim lesson levels and with a private swim instructor that is appropriate for the needs of their child(ren).
