Remember playing dodgeball as a kid or watching the cool dodgeball movies as an adult? Well this is your chance to play! Now at the Mansfield Area Y there is open dodgeball. This will be open for adults ages 17-50. The sessions will be played with National Amateur Dodgeball Association rules revised by the Mansfield Area Y. Teams will be picked by the players before start of play; once the teams are picked they are final for the rest of the session.
The Mansfield Area Y will be hosting two double elimination Dodge ball tournaments Sunday April 26th one for adults one for youth using the rules of the Mansfield Area Y Open Dodge Ball. Teams will consist of 5 players per team with no substitutions; the tournament will begin at 2:00pm with the winner being the last team standing. All teams will receive T- Shirts and the winning team will receive Mansfield Area Y Dodge ball Trophies.
Master level 1 instructor and two-time Ohio Action Chess Champion, Carl Boor is instructing boys, girls and adults in the fundamentals of Chess. Participants will learn and prepare to compete in various competitions.
Middle School aged students spend time in the Y after hours. There is a DJ, dancing, swimming, basketball and much more!
