WELLNESS PROGRAMS

Yoga - Basic

Powered by victorious breath, the fluid moves of warm muscles from pose to pose. Yoga is a moving meditation and a controlled workout.

Pilates

One of the fastest growing mind-body exercises, Pilates is best described as a combination of muscle strength with flexibility and control. Pilates conditions the body by targeting deep postural muscles to improve core strength and stability.

Belly Dance

Belly Dancing is a great core workout, especially for your obloquies. It also tones legs, arms and buttocks. Plus it provides excellent hip stretches. It is an ideal compliment to Pilates. Leslie Reed will be instructing an amazing total body workout, while having fun and targeting the core.

Mommy & Me Fitness

Increase your strength and endurance interacting with other moms. 50 minutes of total body workout, combining your stroller and baby. All fitness levels welcome, if you are pregnant or six weeks post partum. Be sure to have your doctors approval before starting this or any exercise program.

Hip Hop Hustle™ (ages 14 & up)

Are you ready for another intense workout? Introducing Hip Hop Hustle, a high pace dance workout with hot moves that will leave you wanting more. No Experience Required! May attend any or all classes you choose.

Mansfield Area Y 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

The Mansfield Area Y will be hosting two double elimination 3 on 3 Basketball tournaments, one for middle school age youth, Sunday May 4th and one for adults, Sunday May 11th. Teams will consist of a maximum 5 player roster; the tournament will begin at 1:00pm with the winner being the last team standing. All teams will receive T- Shirts and the winning team will receive Mansfield Area Y Basketball Trophies. There will be a Parents meeting Wednesday April 23rd at 6pm and a meeting for the Adult Captains at 7pm.

 

PERSONAL FITNESS

Personal Training

Whether you’re new to exercise or someone who wants to take their fitness to the next level, the Mansfield Area Y Personal Training Program will get you results! Once enrolled, you’ll be working with a trainer on a one-on-one basis. After reviewing your goals, we then develop a customized exercise program to meet your specific needs. During each scheduled training session, your trainer will guide you through each exercise offering feedback, motivation, and accountability.

All personal trainers are certified, have a degree in exercise science, or both!

One-on-One Training

Note: Independent Personal Trainers are not permitted to provide training in the facility.

Drop-In Personal Training

If you cannot commit to a certain time and day but want to take your training to a level you cannot achieve on your own, this class is for you! Taught by one of our certified personal trainers, you never know what they have in store for you!

Tandem Training

For those who don’t like to workout alone, but with a friend, try tandem training. Train, motivate, and support each other to reach fitness goals with a trainer who will assess your individual goals and lead both of you through a customized exercise program.

Specialized Group Training

If you have a specialized heath condition, such as MS, stroke survivor, etc; try this small group training class. You will be working with a certified personal trainer who will lead you through a full body workout program. Limit 4 per class.
